Improved parking, toilet block & pathways since my last visit 2 years ago. An oasis on the edge of Glencar Lake & in the shadow of Benbulben. A short walk up to the falls, great opportunities for photos along the paths. The Teashed is definitely worth a visit - very quirky - nice gifts for sale too.
Was over there with wife and kid. The waterfall itself is nice, but quite small, so you've seen other waterfalls before - like I did - you won't really be amazed by this one. It's definitely worth the trip there though. The surround area is beautiful and you should definitely get lots of nice shots.
The walk to the waterfall...
Free parking, pretty playground, lovely cafe serving great freshly made sandwiches, baby changing facilities, gift shop, picnic area, safe steps to the waterfall, lovely walk way, house and cart trip around the lake if you so desire. We had a great time here. I especially enjoyed reading the visitors book from 1947 on display in a glass cabinet.
