The main focus of our visit to "Yeats' Country" was to immerse ourselves in the beautiful landscape of his poetry, and to trace his footsteps. His grave was a huge disappointment. It may as well have been the unknown French soldier in there for the way it is all laid out. Difficult to find, no info about the wonderful poet...
W B Yeats has a very simple headstone over his grave. If you look at any photos of the site that's it. We only dropped in because it was on the way to more interesting sites.
The church is worth a quick look if you've taken the time to visit the grave.

Enjoyed the plain and simple gravestone for Yeats! The church is beautiful and should not be missed. The pipe organ is impressive as well as the interior. (Plus it is Free). The tea room and gift shop are also charming. Must get tokens from the wait staff to use the wash rooms!
