This Beach is just gorgeous. There are some fantastic walkways in the area and through the beaches etc. The house was closed and we mainly just walked the beaches and nearby dunes etc, but it was gorgeous. Derrynane beach and surrounding dune walk has to be one of the most beautiful places in the worldI have been going to this beach for about twenty years and can honestly say I'm still struck by the unspoilt beauty that surrounds you. You could easily idle away a morning or afternoon. Exploring Derrynane House and gardens. The fairy houses are great if you have little girls with you. The cafe out the back serves lovely fresh sandwiches. Make sure to make time for the amazing beach up the road. Head for the blue flag one with the life guards. Spectacular!!!

Our tour guide insisted on a quick walk, then couldn't tear us away. Most of us even skipped lunch to spend more time on the beach. Truly gorgeous.
