Amazing pub with a great selection og gins, and good beer. Really nice staff, music and atmosphere in this gem in Kinsale. Looking forward to go back next time lm down!
WE really liked exploring the lovely town of Kinsale with all its narrow streets and alleys, but the busloads of folks from the tours that fill the newer "gastro pubs" closer to the waterfront/main street area was just a little too busy in the afternoon for what my wife and I wanted. Just a short stroll away we found "the... 更多
It's been a while since we've been to The Greyhound but it will remain a poignant memory from our trip to Co Cork. We initially chose the pub simply by the name as we had a rescue greyhound. Good choice though as it's a lovely pub with helpful and friendly staff. A damn good pint too!
I traveled all around Ireland for 2 weeks and this was my favorite pub of the trip. No TVs and such here--it's a flashback to a simpler time where the night's entertainment consists of craic and a pint in hand. Decor is worn in (in a good way) and cozy. We went here on a recommendation from a friend and loved it. You can drink indoors or outdoors; indoors is a real, authentic old man's pub and then surprises you with a great wine list and a fantastic gin list. See the photo! Also, there are 3 tonic options. I was in heaven. Don't miss out on here.
A nice place to stop for the late afternoon pint. Sit in the chairs and watch the people walk by. Evenings the place to filled with locals and good atmosphere
Th Greyhound is a really fascinating little pub. Very small and very old, it is everything you dreamed an Irish pub would be. Gathered around the cozy fire we met some locals and now have new friends! An experience not to be missed in Kinsale.
The bar is on a small slant and is the original from the 1600s, imagine the stories it would tell if it could talk! The tiny stairway to the restroom was quite fun to manuever. Guinness on tap and outdoor seating. Really liked the way we were all crammed in and everyone chatted each other up.
