I had the pleasure of playing Enniscrone in the first week of November after two days heavy rain in the SLIGO area . The links course was magnificent , fairways dry and great grass cut to regulation standard and greens that were just pristine . The condition was remarkable and we had a dry but windy day perfect to understand... 更多
We played in 30mph wind with 45mph gusts plus it was 50F. Did I mention there was a light rain all day. However, the course is really good there are quite a few blind shots. A caddie would have helped. There are a lot of good views. Would love to play it again in better conditions.
This course is fantastic, a perfect experience for anyone seeking the joys of true links golf. There is a bit of difficulty, however, so be sure to hire a caddy to guide you around (and actually FIND you lost balls).
Still is a spectacular links course that will provide entertainment and challenges for all level of golfer. The food in the club house afterwards is the best i have had in a long time. Well done Enniscrone, and see you again soon,
What can I say about this place ? It is absolutely super and if the golf is not going according to plan you can admire the breathtaking scenery. It is stunning. This visit was my second time to visit Enniscrone. It was a lovely early morning tee time and as GUI members the green fees were excellent value. It wasn't... 更多
We played Enniscrone twice in the same day as the 3rd stop of a 7 course tour of Ireland. Of all the courses we played, this one probably has the most spectacular changes in elevation and some great ocean vistas. There are some crazy blind tee shots; don't play this course without a caddie. I had an excellent caddie on... 更多
what a simply wonderful enchanting course........... quite simply a super test of golf..... wild undulating fairways, greens with not a single flat roll, cut cunningly into the dunes. loads of blind shots, including the 13th with it's stop / gp green light ( which i made 4 on) would need to play this course a number of times to fully... 更多
We prefer the off the radar courses but have played all the greats as well and Enniscrone clearly deserves more visits from wandering Yanks. The dunes holes are fantastic and well worth the stop or even a couple of rounds. The start is quite inauspicious. A dull flat fairway bordered by the car park. Then you get to your ball,... 更多
Terrific views from everywhere on the golf course. If you miss the fairways make sure you bring you mountain climbing gear on several of the holes. If you want to get out early call in advance you go out, most of the courses I have played tell you to go out and pay when you come in. The hills, the... 更多
