The weather was clear so we went for an after dinner stroll to find Cromwell's Bridge. It was a lovely walk and there's a pretty rushing river under the bridge with flowers and ivy. Get some nice photos of the bridge and river, and take a walk thru the little park back into town, its quite fascinating that this ancient arch is still standing.
Part of a fine self-guided tour that we highly recommend. Amazing that this 11th Century structure is at our fingertips. See it and enjoy it!
lovely 5 minute stroll from the town to see a little piece of history, nice for a picture and a nice little stroll for the little ones (although very slippery when wet)

A small, very old Stonebridge. A nice picnic area at the same time. It doesn't cost anything to go there. However, you see the bridge and that's it.

Best of all, it is free to visit, although you may have to pay for parking in town. We had a little difficulty before our trip with finding directions to... 更多
