Visited on a showery day so had to duck in & out but was a fun visit. We even enjoyed tea, scones & Guinness cake which were all really good! The animals roam free and the kids loved getting up close with cows, donkeys, chickens, pigs who even tried to follow us home! Picked up some beautiful local pottery. Do... 更多
We were driving down the Wild Atlantic Way and stopped on our way to Kenmare! It was well worth the visit seeing the history. But what was better than the history was the friendly and welcoming staff. With the awesome accents and the great sense of humour it was a great visit. If you're a single woman make sure to... 更多
Mollie's, owned and managed by Steve and Frances and their family, includes a tour and a lesson in local Irish history, a wonderful gift shop, that features Irish wool clothing and accessories; and the opportunity to have dinner and drinks. Steve, who grew up in the valley is an expert on so many things about Irish history.
This place is a great place to buy your locally grown and handmade souvenirs, sweaters, scarves, cookies, dish towels etc. the antique buildings are fun to tour along with the grounds. The staff is friendly and fun. If you want to have a tea and stay for awhile chatting this is a great place to do it.
What a lovely place. I had family in town and my two young daughters along with us. We were immediately welcomed and invited to tour the farm. The staff were very engaging with my little ones and friendly to our family member visiting from the US. Charming place to visit and lovely people.
Yes it is a little Touristy but the staff seem genuinely interested in assisting you. My daughter had been looking for a cloak/poncho and found exactly what she wanted. I wish I had purchased the Sheep's Head ceramic art I saw there. They are now on the internet so I do have that option. The video is informative. Tour of... 更多
My Husband and I were a part of a Trafalgar Motor Coach tour, called the Wonders of Britain and Ireland. One of our stops was for a Be My Guest dinner and tour of a traditional Irish Home, Molly Gallivan's. Our hosts were so friendly. The Irish stew was delicious as was the bread. So entertaining and so much fun.
Well what a very special evening which began with a guided tour of the farm with many interesting facts and a very amusing guide in Stephen the very hard working owner. This is something not to be missed great hospitality with music singing dancing and story telling absolutely one of the highlights of our wonderful trip to Ireland.
This old farm and cottage has been restored so the area does not lose one of the treasures that gives you a generous slice of the local flavor. Take the tour of the farm and make sure you participate in one of the evening programs, where you will be woven into the script.
