First visited Harmony Hall about 20 years ago - from what I remember then it was just an art gallery with a small bar/restaurant and a lovely swimming pool. It is now a small hotel too (though we didn't stay there) and a really good restaurant.
It's on a beautiful airy headland with fabulous views from the top of the...
Apart from six guest rooms, a sugar mill and a restaurant, Harmony Hall has an art gallery and jewellery and clothes shop. Don't think 'gift shop.' Much of the art runs into thousands of dollars. It;s run by a very nice Italian couple.
Once seared in one of the many outdoor tables with umbrellas soak in the quiet and view from your hilltop location. The food is excellent, great service, and the word here is relax. The art gallery offers paintings, pottery, jewelry, ceramics, etc. I refreshing serene afternoon lunch is done right here.
Lovely location and nice food if expensive. Ensalada caprese was served with dried basil yet main courses has fresh basil, scallops as a main were pathetic, 12 small scallops on a big plate was not enough for a starter!
Off the beaten path...over priced art and for the most part there were not items that piqued our interest. The grounds & lodge are worth looking around. It's a recommended place for lunch/dinner, but the prices are steep. Though we did not eat there, the food looked good. Harmony Hall is geared towards the "yachting set."
