Once we found it the place was lovely... glorious setting and the assitant was really helpful. Prices good as well... especially the bees wax and candles... And the honey tastes as good as it looks...
It was rather a cloudy day so we decided to visit the Honey bee farm. Very interesting! We bought lots os presents including honey mead - tried it first! Then we paid to see the exhibition which was very informative. The tea rooms were lovely but we declined as we had just eaten. This is all set in a tranquil... 更多
Very friendly staff. Interesting seeing the bees in action. The gift shop is a must. We were allowed to sample some of the Mead that is created on site which is lovely, in fact we ended up buying two bottles to take home for Christmas Day. We visited the tea room and had a lovely cream tea whilst sitting in... 更多
Have visited the farm a number of times over the years to replenidh our honey. Nice surroundings, tranquil experience. Honey is absolutely excellent.
Went to see the bees but only saw wasps. Very small place, really only good for tea room and shop, although it was quite expensive. There are a variety of honey and meads on offer though (£4-£5 for pot of honey, £11 for wine bootle sized bottle of mead)

After seeing how mass produced honey was made recently (resulting in the deaths of hundreds of bees!),... 更多
Being a bit of a honey fanatic I was very excited about visiting this honey farm, and was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the exhibition proved good value for money - £3.25 to view various hives in progress and to enjoy a wealth of information. We definitely all learnt something new, and very much enjoyed browsing... 更多
On a recent holiday we decided to take our three children on a visit to the honey farm. The leaflet we had made it sound very interesting and we all looked forward to visiting. On arrival it looked lovely, we paid £12 for two adults and three children. We went upstairs and I have to say we were bitterly disappointed,... 更多
This is a small attraction that doesn't demand a lot of your time. It's tucked away down a single track road but is well signposted. The exhibition is well laid out but a tad on the expensive side. The tea room is very simple with tea and cakes being the main fayre. A good visit if passing by ...
