I visited this gem of a museum in Pontresina after a recommendation and I'm so glad I did. Full of historical pieces and geological beauties the museum is an old Engadiner farmhouse and the rooms are full of original artefacts, household equipment and furnishings.

Built in an restored homestead, this museum features restored rooms with historic furniture, fixtures and appliances - stoves, etc., - from the last 2 centuries. You can learn a lot about the way the locals lived in this part of Switzerland.
It was great to visit this lovely old swiss house. It contains a random collection of objects which I enjoyed seeing. Rocks, retro ski clothing, taxidermy. The staff were mega friendly. I am really happy i visited.

You will get a glimpse at old kitchen utensils, bedware, clothing and other domestic articles. You will learn about the history of Swiss skiing and tourist culture.
There is a wonderful butterfly and semi-precious gem collection. There is also a wonderful little library with tour books and guest registers of historical value.
