The scenery is very nice, but we had too many people on a Sunday morning around us. The ship was full (not on our way back) it was loud and we did not enjoy it. The beer garden was full and pricy. To visit the monastery was great, but we somehow expected more from our visit. We've seen it!
I had last seen the Danube Gorge (Donaudurchbruch) about 40 years ago and it was as beautiful as ever. We took the boat from Kelheim through the gorge to Kloster Weltenburg, spent some time in the monastery and took another boat back a few hours later. The boats leave every 45 minutes.
