We visited here in April before the busy tourist season. It was so interesting to learn all about the oyster growing, harvesting, processing and selling process. We followed our tour with a feast of every imaginable shellfish, plus sea bass and cuttlefish (not our fav).
Very interesting visit. So we heard they export their Oysters even as far as to Dubai! They should be consumed within 4 days.
Their top season is the Christmas - New Year period. We were astonished how many oysters they deliver. I don't remember the quantity,but it is enormous. One small deception : when seeing so many oysters and hearing...
In just one hour visitors get a very informative explanation, video and visit of an active oyster company. Our guide was very enthusiastic and explained everything very well.

There was no commercial intent, since they do not sell oysters to the visitors.
