The Citadel is the heart of the town , it overlooks a very picturesque Harbor of Calvi , therefore has an incredible view! You can park on its bottom and take a 30-40 min walk up and around it. If you like walking then this is the place for you, with lots of cobbled streets to explore and loads of fantastic views. Just about worth making the effort to walk around it but I wouldn't set aside too long, as there a far more worthwhile places to go to in and around Calvi. It is a very average attraction. Cathedral is worth a visit and the view over the port / beech is nice but that's all. The prices in the cafes... 更多
The chasse au tresor is very nice to do with the kids. We have spent nearly 2h in the citadelle and the kids, 6 and 8 years old, had lots of fun. Highly recommended
Nice walk with a 360 view over Calvi. We made a walk up twice. On more exstensive in daylight and one at night after a night in town. The citadel is beautiful in all lights and from all of Calvi. At night it is lit up and generates s romantic atmosphere.
Well worth it to climb stairs up there but try to be there earlier to avoid crowds. Beautiful view of the see or the town of Calvi.
