The promenade on the beach of Viareggio is one of the best I've seen in the world. It 's very long, wide and there are many different types of shops. You can enjoy a sunny winter day as well as a cloudy day, walking and breathing the sea air, which you can reached in a few hundred meters. Fantastic.

After eating great ice creams this is the place to walk it off, If you love eating shopping, with great designer shops , When we were there many sales on. Lots of street traders trying to sell goods beware .
Large open space with shops, beach access, families and restaurants. It's a great place to walk, run, ride bikes - safe and clean. Easy to spend hours along the Passeggiata.
Used to love coming here for a sort of Riviera feeling, but the posh boutiques have all been replaced by chain stores ( not that I could afford to shop in them anyway) so now it just feels like a high street by the sea. Still, it's about the only place around with any life if you want to people... 更多
we enjoy the walk that is rich in lovely stores and boutiques and we can get a glimpse of the sea as well. the evening finds many people strolling and stopping for ice cream or a drink at the numerous places that line the "walk". The characteristic architectural styles of the buildings that bring us back to a past epoch... 更多
The front street is broad and long and makes for a perfect "promenade" however it is a block behind the beach due to the various bagnos/ shops/ beachclubs which are all beach side. The promenade gives an opportunity to view the old liberty buildings and hotels which are lovely but some are past their bet and need some tlc. I... 更多
