This museum is well laid out and perfectly displays the major works of the civic art collection. Seeing it in Prato adds to understanding and the quality of your visit to Prato. Good for 2 - 3 hours with wonderful views out the windows. We enjoyed a great sunset from the upper floors of the museum while enjoying the art.
This museum is really well done, and we were surprised by that. If you are in town I would check it out. The rooftop view is amazing on a clear day!
The views of Tuscany from the building are worth the visit! Just kidding. They are spectacular, but so is this superb collection of all things Prato. Pratese? We learned so much about the city's history. Get the audio guides, the art comes alive with incredible stories. Paintings, sculpture, furniture. Amazing. This was our introduction to Tuscany and we really enjoyed... 更多

We visited this museum one Sunday afternoon in April. I was completely surprised at the treasures found in this quiet museum. It is definitely a must see in Prato. The view from the roof is just amazing and we enjoyed the exhibits. We only had one and a half hours to visit before closing time and it was not enough.... 更多
We walked past the museum and decided to look inside. It was very well organized and the displays are very interesting and in a good condition. The girl ate the info desk explained everything very well. Well worth the visit, I'm glad we found this museum.
Beautiful museum, very organised. They will tale you back in time by centuries as you go up the floor. It's very spacious, not crowded, well lighted, and has spectacular views of the Tuscan mountains when you look out the windows! Definitely a must see in Prato!
Beautiful building and great art, including masterpieces by Lippi, Daddi. I also found the interactive displays on each floor very informative and in English too. I got the Prato Museo card eur13 for this Museum, the Museo di Tessuti and the Duomo both the museum and in the Duomo to see up close the frescoes by Lippi.
