Our family of 2 adults & 2 teenagers spent a wonderful afternoon learning to cook local specialties. Our menu included eggplant parmigiana, gnocchi, pesto & chocolate almond cake. Always wanted to take a cooking class in Italy and decided on Buca di Bacco. We signed up two days before the day we wanted. Cost 125 euros per person and beginning at 3:30pm. Each class holds just 9 people and is held while the restaurant is closed. You are in a professional kitchen and will actually do the work while drinking Prosecco. It took us a while to choose a class but we are very happy we went with this restaurant. The chefs and the waiter/translator were very nice and patient. The price may seem steep at first but it is totally worth it! Our chef Andrea was amazing! We learned so much and had a blast doing it. Friendly and professional service. Luigi was an excellent host. We made pesto, gnocchi, pizza, marinara sauce, eggplant parmisan, almond cake, all from scratch. We attended the Buca di Bacco cooking class in April 2016. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Positano.
