This was an excellent trip. It was my wife, my 20month son and I. The park has lots of shade, a good range of animals (lion, bear, tiger, elephant, giraffe, etc). The enclosures seemed a decent size and the animals happy(to my untrained eye). The park is small enough that it is a comfortable size to walk around but as... 更多
This was a nice & pleasant place to visit which offers a nice ambience for the various animals which are hosted in it! The animals seem to be very well kept & the giraffe & elephants were very friendly too!! Hehe!! The place seems to be family run and the staff are very jolly & helpful!! Definitely a place worth... 更多
This is a great little zoo to spend a few hours at. Lots of variety of animals - lions, tigers, reptiles, elephants, giraffes, hippos, plenty of monkeys, and a farmyard area. Decent kids playground and cafe, plus several picnic areas. Given the Tuscan sun, it's also great that the vast majority of the zoo is shady. Nice destination for kids... 更多
Lovely walk in the zoo that is stroller friendly. We went on a Monday ....few people, free parking. There are some areas under construction for the Penguins but overall great outing especially the Tibetan panda area and central playground. Zoo keepers should take more care of maintenance as trash cans were rather full probably a result of more flow over... 更多
Great alternate day out in Tuscany. Kids loved it. As in previous reviews. Cafe really good but there are lots of shady tables dotted around if you wanted take your own food.
We visited the zoo with our animal-loving daughter (9 years old) and really enjoyed to stroll through the shady green park. Most of the animals are kept in relatively generous enclosures, yet some are rather small, but renovations are ongoing. The zoo also features a surprisingly nice restaurant.
My wife and I visited in July 2016 with our three daughters, 22 and twins of 15. They really love animals. One graduated the week before and one planning to work with animals. This was a small, lovely and shaded zoo, perfect for kids of all ages; including me! The cafe bar was awesome and the friendly service with excellent... 更多
I had never heard of this zoo before - I stumbled upon it in a guidebook for things to do near Lucca. However, it is long established (opened in 1970) and is an excellent way to spend a day with the children. There is a very wide selection of animals from penguins to tigers, as well as various play areas... 更多
