Lake Molveno is a pearl in the Dolomites. But this year it was empty !! We have learned from the locales that in every 20-30 year the lake has to be dryed in order to clean the bottom of it, to help the working of a very special hydro-electrical plant in the lake. In this season they started to empty... 更多
Second time in 4 years we've been here and we were quite shocked by the lack of water in the lake. Last time we came in 2013 ( also in February), the lake looked very full and very beautiful to the eye with its unusual colour. This time however, we walked from the car park, over the bridge and could... 更多
I don't know if I want to tell you the truth. This place is a secret gem and I would like it stayed that way. Crystal blue lake with the back drop of the Brent's Dolomites. Activities galore. Swimming, boating, paddle boarding, paragliding, mini golf, tennis, biking, hiking, sunbathing ... did I mentioned everything.. big playground for kids! Great restaurants... 更多
No too people please. This is like the paradise and surely you want it 'll be the same in the future. Please don't tel it all around. Ciao
Travelled here from Garda for a day out. We were not disappointed. The lake was a beautiful green emerald colour. It was freezing but we hired a pedalo and from the lake the view of the mountains was stunning. The town of molveno is def worth a visit also with bars shops and cafes.
Molveno is a small and peaceful place. The small village is nice and quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. The lake shore has a number of activities - swimming pool, mini golf, bike rent, paddle boat, etc.

There looked like a good crazy golf but we didn't have time to try it. Very popular with families. Stand up paddle boarding seemed... 更多
No surprise it is highly rated. The lake and village area is gorgeous. Plenty of hiking trails (from easy to challenging) with views of the Dolomites or the lake at every angle. Great weather in July. Cool dry winds, sunny skies. Gets a little chilly in the evening but it is perfect with a glass of wine.
