GORGEOUS & BEAUTIFUL - Totally worth the short hike to the bay. We went in October 2016 and apparently there was a fire which closed the route there. We ignored the signs and went anyways and so glad we did. Amazing views of the bay!
It's unofficially opened. The signs say it's shut due to fire but it's been a month now and locals were going in. You park your car from Negano Square next to Olga residence. You'll need to buy parking tickets from the shop next to it. The hike is VERY hard because the steps leading down to the beach have badly... 更多
You arrive at baia di Ieranto after 40' walck in the middle of the wilde hills characterized by the "macchia mediterranea" vegetation. Astonishing view during the hiking and clear fresh limpid water are the reward getting there. Consider that during the day, starting @ noon there will be no shadow where you can recover from sunburn and when you get... 更多
We planned to hike and swim at Baia di Ieranto last week but the walking path is currently closed due to recent bush fires that have made the path dangerous. We only found this out when we stopped in Nerano for a coffee. We drove instead to Marina Del Cantone and walked 30 minutes to another lovel beach. Useful for... 更多
This was a true highlight from our trip to Italy. Beautiful little beach with turquoise and clear water. To get there, there is a 45 minutes hike. Efforts are paid-off by the magnificent view you get along the way and by swimming in the sea. Note: When we went, someone got a minor sting from a jellyfish.
By taking the path from the town of Nerano, you can follow it along the coast to this wonderful bay. Well sign-posted with two choices, one leading to the Saracen watch tower and the other leading down to the sea, to the Bay of Ieranto. Slightly steep walk up and down to the beach but well worth the effort. Crystalline,... 更多
Well, you get the idea from all of the write ups: tough hike down, secluded, bring water, etc.--but the best thing I can say is to be sure go there at the right time to hike down. We did it late in the afternoon, enjoying the workout and sweat--then took an amazing swim in the lagoon to cool off, all... 更多
Take with you everything you need cause there is nothing down there (towels, drinks, food..) and wear sports shoes for the walk. It's a 40 min walk with a stiff part in the end of it (hard to climb when you go back). But totally worth it! Great hidden beach!!! Enjoy!!
Spectacular surroundings, clear, crystal water and a real feeling of being in the south of Italy but the hike to get to it is not for the faint hearted. Bring lots of water, decent hiking shoes and a smile
...take the path that begins at Nerano in the center of town on your right-hand side going towards the beach.. ..if driving, don't forget to get your parking coupon at the bar across the street.. ...load up on water at Olga's Alimentari (she will also make make sandwiches for you of any delightful charcuterie she sells) and begin. You will... 更多
