We only spent part of a day in Bressanone and saw only the outside of the Duomo. It's located in a beautiful plaza and surrounded by streets with lots of shops and restaurants.
I was in Bressanone on a day trip from Bolzano - it makes a very nice one, under an hour on the train - about three weeks ago. I happened to choose the anniversary of Italian independence - and even if this place (aka Brixen) is mix of Germanic/Austrian and Italian, a large crowd gathered in cathedral Square for ceremonies.... 更多
One of the jewels of Bressanone. Well worthy of spending an hour or so strolling through the garden and appreciating the fine stained glass and architecture.
City of Bressanone is really nice, unfortunately Museums were all closed in this period of the year. The church was the only thing we could visit.
Awesome and beautiful structure , rich , huge , spiritual and really fascinating , i sang there for a muzichen symposium and was one of the best experience for my singing career , beautiful for the eyes and for the soul
