Small place (compared to many others in the region) Some are internactive and really interesting for the kids. Some of them are informative for adults too. Description of many of the exhibits are beginning to fade. Couple of the exhibits are not in working condition. Entrance fee is 1 R.O for adults and 100 baisa for kids.
I recently visited with family, plan was to keep my 7 year old granddaughter occupied for an hour or so before lunch. She thoroughly enjoyed the various interactive displays and exhibits. We stayed for just over an hour and she had seen and done what was needed. Some exhibits were a bit dated but still fun, good for children(and adults)... 更多
Its a decent science museum for the kids. There are a lot of interactive exhibits which will interest your kids and keep them busy for about a couple of hours. That includes the hot air balloon, balancer etc. Although it is small, it is quite cheap and must definitely be visited for the experience.
Situated in Al Qurum area children's Museum is good for kids upto 10 years of age. Ticket for adults is One Rial Omani and for kids is 100 baiza. The most enjoyable part for my daughter was hot air baloon model. One can plan for 1 hr trip.
We spent an hour here entertaining our son (7) and escaping the heat. There are a variety of interactive exhibits, which explore a range of scientific concepts such as Electrolysis, expansion of gases, sound, visual perception, reaction times, human body... It is open in the morning only, closing at 1pm.
If you have children with you a trip to this museum is a must. It is a life size science museum with and enlightening experience which your children will love
The museum is fancy and glitzy but it is mostly well maintained. The exhibits are generally good and interesting. Older children will learn a thing or two and the younger can fiddle with the interactive displays. It's not the London Science Museum by any stretch but it is worth a visit if you have little ones especially if it's summer... 更多
This is suitable for small children and under 10s. The Museum has a lot of potential to be awesome as it explores The Human Body, Light and Sounds and other scientific discoveries. The displays just need to be expanded a bit and maintained so they are not damaged or out of use. The possibility of doing reading time there would... 更多
We were throughly disappointed as several of the displays were broken, it is tiny and while our son enjoyed the space inside (he was the only child there so was able to run around) we left within 20 minutes. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
