On my last day of this summer 2016 vacation, I decided to walk to the St Cona's Kirk. It is a short walk, just 15 min, along teh main road. When I came there, at the Kirk, I was pleasantly surprised. Such beautiful place. The garden facing the lake is just fantastic. The inside of the Church is so huge....

The kirk on the outside looks quite small but on the inside it's large the location is 10 minutes from the Loch Awe hotel.
Was told that this kirk was definitely worth a visit, so my son and I walked from loch awe hotel. But I'm afraid that we weren't impressed, the roof leaks, there are no stained glass windows, yes it's an unusual shape, but other than that it's not worth visiting.
We passed this delightful little kirk on our way from Glasgow to Oban. Although pretty enough from the road side, it is the unique interior that makes it worth a stop.
