Super little 9/18 hole golf course. No real club facilities available but that does not detract from this family run golf course. It sits right next to the Ballindalloch Distillery so what else would one want for. Oh yes fishing. That is there too. Great visit and enjoyed playing the course
I was unimpressed with this place. It looks nice from the exterior, but the interior is almost decorated like the 1970's. Maybe I misled myself on expecting older furnishings, etc. No pictures are allowed inside - no doubt it would reduce the visitors and revenue. I would not recommend this place. ... The people there were nice, just the product... 更多
My wife and I walked the grounds of this fabulous estate before touring the main home on the property. As with many places we've visited on this tour, the history is captivating and impressive. As this is a 'living monument' in that the home is still used, it was fun to see the hybrid of old and new. Highly recommend... 更多
Absolutely beautiful castle and gardens. Here the cleanest and poshest loos I've ever seen at a tourist attraction! Very friendly staff. You can wander around certain rooms open to the public by yourself. Castle is still used by the current Laird and his family. Absolutely worth a visit to the grounds and gardens too! Everything is beautifully kept.
This is a little treasure. It's probably the most homely castle we've ever visited with the Laird popping in and out and speaking to visitors. The guide was pleasant and informative, happy to answer all manner of questions without being intrusive. The rooms are beautifully appointed but they do feel like a family home. The grounds must be stunning in... 更多
We visited Ballindalloch Castle and really can't fault it as a great day out. The castle grounds are bursting with things to do - a kids outdoor play area, a grass labyrinth, the walled garden, a river walk and extensive landscaped grounds. All of these are worth a look. The castle itself has an introductory audio-visual presentation before you enter... 更多
This is a beautiful castle in lovely gardens and grounds. Three good short walks through the gardens and along a drive and the river. Try to avoid a coach party. The information in each room is excellent and gives one a real feel for the history and the family. Lovely area for younger children to play which we did not... 更多
The castle is nestled in an ancient part of the realm. The castle is the star attraction; lacking the grand formal gardens of other castles. However, there are grounds to walk around. You get a sense of the family who reside there. The rooms are beautiful and very well kept.
It was a lovely visit, around the rooms, the walled garden and the river walk. The staff were all engaging and good fun! Of course delightful loos.
