This is an interesting course, the greens were the best of the weeks holiday. The layout is tricky and the weather will always contribute to the challenge. The clubhouse is a museum and any serious golfer will want to spend time browsing all the artefacts. The food was good, the cake was excellent.
From 0830 to 1630 daily, the most glorious food is available in the club's restaurant. It is open to the public and reservations are highly recommended for Sunday lunch. Meal size options range from small, regular and to children's. There is a great selection of foods with highlights being the full British breakfast and Sunday roasts. Sandwiches served deli-fashion are... 更多
The golf course is how golf should be,natural. Stunning views out to Lundy Island with stunning internal views of the hazards you have to negotiate to post a good score round the course.
I thought this to be a great experience of a great old True links golf course stepped in history. Any true golfer will appreciate this true experience of sheep and horses keeping the Fairways cut There is a museum in the club which is quite well kept. The food is good and staff as well as the members are very... 更多

What a place. Steeped in history and yet still a brilliant place to play the sacred game. A friendly course (that doesn't mean easy !!) and a great bar for the 19th hole celebrations. You have to play here once in your life. A real bucket list item if you're a golfer.
Whilst in Devon, we had to play the oldest course in England. A mostly flat golf course, there are some difficult carries into the on shore winds. I had to hit a driver to the 177 yard par 3. The clumps of very sharp `grasses` are a must to avoid. However on a calmer day you should enjoy a lovely... 更多
Standing on the 1st tee one cannot help but think this is just a flat boring course. How wrong can that be! As you progress from hole to hole with the wind blowing non stop you start to wonder what you are doing there. The game gets more interesting and challenging. The sleepered Cape bunkers are strategically place to catch... 更多
