Have been around the grounds many times to walk the dog. Well kept paths and lovely tended gardens. Clean toilets as well! The children's play area is especially good, the zip wire is extremely good fun. If you take your dog, please remember to poo scoop, when you don't it gives us all a bad name!!!
The grounds are extensive and the walk through them very pleasant. There is also an adventure playground for children but, to be honest, there is nothing special about the environment that you can't find easily elsewhere. And the NT café is expensive!
Fantastic place to visit. Great walks. There's a duck pond, so don't forget the bread! There's a lake with swans and geese. Two coffee shops and a gift shop.
If you bored and the weather is good than go out, and enjoy! Suitable for young families, but put some waterproof shoes/wellies. Very good play areas and barbecue facilities as well. A lots of wildlife and natural scenery. Amazing park! Could be more parking spaces.
We decided to go for a walk around the estate as it was a lovely sunny day. We arrived midmorning and found there was ample parking spaces at that time of morning. There are quite a few walking routes to choose from. We went to have a look at the beautiful deer statues and walked further up the hill to... 更多
Visited here after a walk around haddo estate. On arriving at the cafe door we did wonder why it was empty yet the park itself was very busy. We entered and picked up a menu and was horrified to see they were charging £7 for a bowl of soup and £3.95 for a bacon roll. We put the menu down... 更多
Whenever we are there, we always see mini-tractors, green golf buggy things, and a range of other park staff equipment. However, we've never ever seen anyone ever doing anything in Haddo House country park. And it shows. There are bumpy bits everywhere on the paths, and huge sections that have turned to mud (even on generally clear days!) which are... 更多
We were here to visit the house, but also walked round the grounds. There is a fantastic adventure playground with a zip wire, which looked great fun. We also saw some other children's climbing frames which would be suitable for younger children. We walked round the lake and viewed ducks, geese and swans from the two hides. There are two... 更多
Visited today and it was a lovely walk. We walked past the pheasantry down to the lakes. The ducks and geese were out of the water pretty sharpish when the possibility of a titbits arose. A visit to the younger children's play area was rewarding and was well maintained. Will definitely be back.
