Lovely place for a walk, it can be a bit breezy and its a bit steap but we'll worth a go. There's a very nice cafe and the food is very good, also a bit of a gift shop and information / musium place with viewing gallery to watch the bird with binoculars. There is a car park as well,... 更多

We were on our way to Portland head when we stopped half way along the causeway and walked up the pebbles and up the slope . What a site for miles . Ive always wanted to see Chesil beach, its fantastic. 5 star attraction.

We arrived as the sun was setting and it was beautiful. Car park I imagine would be heaving in the summer. Public toilets available and refreshment centre seemed... 更多
It was wonderful to see the beautiful cliffs and marvel at the geology as I stumbled over the pebbles in my leather boots. Note to self - always wear sensible clothes. Easy access from a huge car park. This was on our informal literary tour itinerary.
