We visited here first thing on a sunny Saturday morning and were surprised to find people queueing to access the attraction. Parking is free (always a plus) and adjacent to the property. We had a good look around and purchased coffee and cakes in the on-site eatery. The staff are enthusiastic and took time to explain various quirks. There are... 更多
We stopped in here on our way back down south after a trip to Newcastle. We had a few hours to spare and so Woolsthorpe Manor was perfect for a visit. The house is situated in the countryside along a narrow lane with a small car park almost adjacent. The very helpful staff give you a map and lots of... 更多

There are lots of interactive areas dealing with Isaac Newton's experiments and the house although small is interesting. The NT guides are very knowledgeable and will answer any questions. The café is small but lovely cakes to eat.

It's worth watching the short introductory film before you enter the house to set the context although there are helpful room stewards in each room who can explain further. The famous tree... 更多

Probably not an ideal place for a toddler, but our... 更多

I do wish however the guides would be more sensitive to people who want to enjoy the atmosphere. I really don't need to know all the historical detail... 更多
Small venue but varied things to do, there is the house itself to look round, the famous tree of Isaac Newton to see, a science centre, animals and an activity centre for kids. Really interesting place and a great way to spend a few hours.
