We visited here with two young children (3 1/2 and 6) and had a great time. You can go all over the ship and the children loved exploring and climbing up and down ladders. In particular they enjoyed the wheel house and the sleeping quarters. This is a working boat, so it's a bit cramped and some of the ladders... 更多
We found touring the boat to really informative and much more enjoyable than we had thought. The volunteer was keen to guide us through the history of the boat and we found the visit very absorbing.
I am now a volunteer on the Lydia Eva, helping to maintain this floating museum. If you do visit Great Yarmouth, please pay a visit to this fine vessel. I would recommend this boat is worth a look round but you must be able to bend as it contains very small spaces to look round ,it is quiet expensive to take a trip on but if you have problem in that area it is worth taking one.
Very interesting, I spend more than an hour exploring the boat. The guide/volunteer was keen to explain everything in detail and really knew his stuff. He was kind and patient with my many questions and did his best to ensure I had a pleasant visit (which indeed I had).
My wife and i went down to Gt yarmouth quay,and decided to look round the lydia eva,we spent two hours looking round,and talking to the chap who looks after her,i highly recommend a visit
You can see every part of this boat, from the wheelhouse to the engine room, stem to stern. The volunteers on hand have a great depth of knowledge and look the part in a selfie too
