Stayed at the old Scarborough YHA hostel and rode the trail on a mountain bike to Whitby.. An easy ride with spectacular coastal views easily done in a day. (I was 76 years old!). Stayed at B/B on the cliff top near Captain Cooke monument looking down on the harbour. Lovely!
An enjoyable ride on a summer day. Starting at the Sainsbury supermarket car park in Scarborough concluding at Southend Gardens just off the main road in Whitby In parts the track needs some repair others require effort to progress but overall an enjoyable journey to undertake. The return journey Whitby to Scarborough seems to be the easier ride as there... 更多
I made this a circular walk by starting at scalby mills, I walked along the cliff top as far as the Hayburn Wyke Hotel, was more than ready for a cold beer by the time I got there I returned to Scarborough along the cinder track of the old railway line, signposted 8 miles. This was a mixture of coastal... 更多

Definitely worth doing and not too strenuous if you are used to riding. Start at either end and finish at the other with some fish and chips.

It is extremely popular and the surface in the main is good. There are a number of places to stay along the route - we... 更多

Great for walking and cycling if you want to stay on the flat. You can do this walk in stages just plan in advance and off you go.
