As part of an excursion from the Nordnorge whilst docked at Trondheim, we visited the museum. The tall, slim male guide, had excellent verbal delivery with infectious enthusiasm for the subject matter. This private museum had a great collection of antique musical instruments, esp. pianos and other items associated with classical musicians such as Greig, Chopin, and Beethoven. No wheelchair access to the upper floor, and no photos allowed inside. Nice views from the gardens as well.
The guides at the museum are music students who play and sing very well. They guide you through historic periods and different musical instruments and composers whilst telling you different facts about the buildings, the people who used to live there or composers from different times.
