We were incredibly lucky that our short break in Vienna coincided with a concert by Lang Lang.We didn't have any chic outfits because we'd travelled with only hand baggage. However, rubbing shoulders with the gliterati was fun. Like millions of others we watch the New Year's day concert from here and are amazed by the fantastic decor. When we had a chance to go to a Lang Lang concert on a trip to Vienna we jumped at the chance and took out a second mortgage.(The on line booking service took a 50 euros surcharge on each ticket).... 更多
Visited twice this month. Once for Hollywood in Vienna and once for a concert with Dee Dee Bridgewater. The location is simply history, the style, the sound, everything awesome. Only thing they could improve is the drinks/food - too little variety, to high prices. But still I will go there again.
Wiener Konzerthaus was one of Vienna's best concert halls. It was nice from outside and we just took a few photos and hope to come here to listen to the music performance next time.
The quality of music regularly performed there is great. But also the building, outside and inside is worth coming there. Opened 1913 with music from Richard Strauss, closely to the old town, the Konzerthaus got a landmark from the very beginning.
Went to a conzert performance by the Vienna Symphony Orchestra here. The Konzerthaus is a truly fitting venue for the great composers of music, many of them Austrian! From the ambiance to the sound quality, it is well worth the effort to come and enjoy amazing music.
We going to a lot of concerts in Europe but this concert hall was really special. First the classic decorations and second the sound was great. We watch there a concert of Birdy and it was great experience. Very classy place.
