What a smashing museum all local history and its well worth a visit the man that shows you round will tell and explain everything you want to know
At first glance you think that this is a small inconsequential village collection but take time to look and read the information and you will step back in time to see the old Cyprus. Donations no entrance fee help keep the museum created by the lovely village mayor going.
Well worth a trip if you are interested in Cypriot social history. The implements on show were very interesting with the displays well grouped. We were privileged to meet mr Ilias and he gave us a guided tour. We compared our childhood experiences of similar era and... 更多
Were recommended to visit this little museum. It contains many interesting artefacts of traditional Cyprus life. Free entrance you just make a donation in the big urn.
visited the museum on a very hot "craft" market day. these markets are very good and the museum. has lots of history displays about village life . the village tavern also has good food, so a market day would be a good morning trip to this lovely village
Popped in here to fill time as there is no charge (optional donation box). The exhibits are all labelled and a small booklet explains what everything is. Good examples of the traditional village equipment, clothing and even windows! The highlight for us was the silkworms doing their thing. They clearly put a lot of effort into the museum so definitely... 更多
