We are not orthodox but when we entered the Monastery, we feel the tranquility and peace right away. The Monastery had a few visitors while we were there so you could stroll around it, take your time observing this place and its environment. There is a small shop inside selling post cards, local wine and a nice old lady. The... 更多
We went there on an organised trip with S A Coaches of Paphos and stayed for a little while to walk round. Very quiet and was able to walk freely. There is a shop inside which sells bottles of there wine, very interesting but one hour is plenty of time.
This monastery is also a great visit and lovely to experience. We were not able to meet the man in charge, but our guide described him as a very special man.
Really pretty monastery up in the hills to the rear of Paphos - we went as part of a organised tour and it was very quiet - it even snowed in December so wrap up if you intend to visit in Winter - nice to wander round for a hour or so
Absolutely stunning the work that's gone into the place is amazing. You have to cover your arms and legs and my daughter and son inlaw had to wear these wrap skirts as they had shorts on.They looked so funny. The wraps are provided.Defently worth a visit

We chanced upon this whilst travelling back from seeing freindly. It was stunning. The church is very interesting and the views are wonderful. There is plenty of information and the wine is goods and excellent value. Make sure you explore around every nook and cranny as there are balconies and terraces that are hidden away. Well worth a visit.
