If you cannot swim or not confident in water, then this is the beach to visit.You can walk out a good distance without being out of your depth.A good selection of cafes fronting the beach means you don't have to pack everything up to eat or have a drink.

lovely beach with shallow safe water (you can walk out 50 yards and its still only knee deep) - 4 or 5 restaurants - we like the very last one as you can watch the planes take off and land at the RAF base - there is also the salt flats in the summer where you can drive
We were recommended to come here and we were disappointed. The good thing is that we had a car so drove here and drove straight back again.
