One of the largest botanical garden in Europe. Opened in 20es it's about 175 hectares covered with plants, flowers and lakes. Birds and ducks have their home here. It offers some fine walks and bike trails.
The ambience was great, with a lot of green and cherry blossoms to welcome the spring. We visited on 19th April and it was quite nice. There were lots of greens and some flowers around. But when we went further up, it's brown everywhere, all the soils were stuck with labels of the plants but nothing was there. Probably better...
A little bit of quietude in the centre of the city. A historical garden with a 19th century palm house and beautiful gardens surrounding it. All free to enter and really well cared for, a must for the garden lovers out there.
It is a very lively place during summers. kids playing around, sometimes even Marriages happening around. Quite a mix of varied plant/flowers/trees available for nature lover. Botanical garden also has green house that maintains different atmospheric conditions for varied species like tropical conditions. very detailed collection for students pursuing botanical studies.
