There's a lot of money on show here, from Sweden and around the world, but - especially as admission is free - it is worth a visit if you are in the area of the old town (it's just to the North) and have seen most of the big museums. There's a history of money and what's claimed to be... 更多
We went into this museum without much expectations except to see Sweden's historical curencies. It was free and we had time in hand. But then what I saw, makes me classify it as a "MUST SEE" in Stockholm. It actually catalogs global economic history with the currency across the world. The "feather" money roll, the 17 Kg copper "coin" and... 更多
Although not a must see the Royal Coin Cabinet was really interesting - history of money was fascinating and it was interesting to see all the ways we have figured out to pay each other!
This incredible small museum, free entry, is part of the Royal Palace complex. Look for it if coins and money float your boat. The is also free audio guide and lockers (put in krona which is returned). Not just Swedish money, but American, European and others. Very helpful staff. You will be very happy you went - I went in... 更多

Plenty of unique and antique collection for coins and notes. A lot of historical moment which could let us knew the improvement of human being. And the most important is FREE admission.
Honestly I stopped in for a little break because the museum has free admission. I was pleasantly surprised to find some really good exhibits. The only disappointment was the lack of signs in English at the Viking exhibit. I wanted to learn more about what I was seeing but I don't read Swedish, although I also understand that they don't... 更多
