We had time to kill so after coffee at Sjocafeet we took a walk along the north side of the island and the park - peaceful and beautiful, and understandably a favourite with joggers!
Whether you are just riding around on the tram or visiting one of the many attractions, Djurgarden is lovely. Art, living history, ship wrecks, green space, water front, and more are all here. What we did not find was a place to eat that looked appealing. We tried to eat in the Vasa Museum cafe, but unlike many other museums,... 更多
Djurgården is a small island located very close to the centrum, and it contains the major attractions in Stockholm such as the open-air museum Skansen, the amusement park Gröna Lund, museums like Vasa museet, Nordiska museet, and ABBA museum, and there's definitely this tranquil place Waldemarsudde. To reach this place, you can take the tram (Spårvagn) from Sergels torg (or... 更多
One of the loveliest parks in Europe - and I am absolutely sure about that. You can ride a horse or a bicycle, you can walk or hae a picknic and you always get all the pleasure you can imagine with lots of snack bars, exsibitions and the most wonderfully kept nature. The only thing that you might be lacking... 更多
This is a massive park a mere short walk from the city centre, with not only a theme park but also the Nordic Museum, the Vasa Museum (a must) and then a large, lovely park behind, with many lovely views and yet also substantial woods and parkland.
People go here for the museums and views of the harbor, but we liked renting a bike there and circling the small island, took about an hour, or a bit more. Such a nice break from the busy and modern city. Stockholm is beautiful and this was a special afternoon.
We went there on a sunny day after having spent several hours in the Skansen museum. It was definitely worth it. There's also a very nice coffee shop/green house with plenty of tables outdoors higher up.
a good place for a day trip: lots of animals, old swedish houses, Samen houses and many interesting stalls where you can buy Swedish products. Also many restaurants.
I love the area for a nice walk or run! Do the big lap and you have a perfect 10 K run! Unbelievable that you can fins this nature in the middle of a capital
Really cool island. With my Stockholm public transport card, I could even take a ferry to this island from the main island with no additional fees. That was awesome and a very nice short ride, about 10 minutes. Djurgarden, despite the difficult name, is lovely and there are nice museums there like the Vasa Museum. The highlight must be the... 更多
