Interesting castle, but not all old, some newer parts which are being used. Scenic location near the water and has a good view of the city. Do it if you are in the area and have time.
The view of this Malmohus from far was impressive especially when it's reflection is on the calm water surrounding it. From a castle to prison to now a museum, this building has seen it all. It was very informative and at the outside, there was an exhibition on the white buses (operation in saving people from concentration camp). Well worth... 更多
Malmö is a quick and easy train ride from Copenhagen. It is a walkable city and has great restaurants. Take a walk to the historic Malmohus, surrounded by a mirror-like moat. Adult admission is SEK 40 (about $5).
A very good museum, learned a lot of history there, it has a lot of exhibitions along with old castle parts and the prison wing. Enjoyed every minute of it - a great experience!
We spent 2 days here visiting the castle itself, aquarium, various museums. Recommend the aquarium, well-laid out and made very interesting. Fascinating to see the castle rooms and war history as well as the temporary and permanent exhibitions.
I am writing this review in the context of a museum in a regional city. It is not a spectacular as the large museums found in great European Cities, but for the smaller regional destination of Malmo, the creators of museum have done some wonderful, creative and imaginative things. It is a must if you are in the South of... 更多
Well laid out in 'age' rooms starting with the renaissance period up to the modern day. You can go into the round keep and see the cannon implacements. There is an art gallery and an aquarium - lots to see and we covered about 2/3rds in a two hour visit.
All the reviews that say how weird this place is are correct. However, do not let that keep you from visiting. This fortress is a giant hunk of history that cradles the entire story of Malmo. It is also a number of different kinds of museums smushed into one; there are the historical displays, the apartment of the King, etc,... 更多
I couldn't really figure this place out. It has an aquarium in the basement, but it's not a very big or interesting aquarium. Kind of small, sad displays of animals that are dark and hard to see. Many displays were empty. Then there are several different temporary exhibitions going on at the same time. The most interesting one when we... 更多
