Have climbed a few church towers and narrow spiral staircases in my time, such as Durham Cathedral and The Rock of Cashel. My son and I love the never ending upward climbs often on very narrow ladders and tight, twisty wooden staircases. When we visited the weather was quite bad. There was a little bit of a line. The stairs are really narrow so inside there was lot of waiting when you had to let the people come down first. As we got up the view was really nice and totally worth the climb!
Everywhere you go in copenhagen you see this spire enticing to climb. Costs about £3 or free with the copenhagen card. Some steep and narrow passages but well worth it
It was a bit cold when we went here. But the climbing was worth everything. I think you get the best view in Kopenhagen here. And downstairs there is a big and clean toilet! There are only stairs. No elevator.

Visited once is good enough if you are fear of height. It was a sunny day while we visited the church tower, yet the wind chill and the height still caused my leg shaking even 15 minutes after I reached the ground. some parts of climb are very steep and you have to give way to each other. We spent half an hour climbing the many stairs, but enjoyed the 360 degrees view from above- really worth the small fee. If you have the CPH card - it is free.
Church of Our Savior is the highest point in Copenhagen.
