Medical Museion is a combined museum and research unit at the University of Copenhagen. The museum was founded on a private initiative in 1907 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Danish Medical Association with a public exhibition of historical medical artefacts. It remained a public museum until 1918, when it was taken over by the University.Today, we belong to the Department of Public Health, which in turn is part of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.

Museums talk a lot about articulating research ideas through the material of their collections, but it is exceptional to see this so clearly executed in practice as Medical Museion has accomplished with their Body Collected exhibition. Put blunty, this is a collection of body parts, ranging from aborted and still-born foetuses (including one still in utero) through pathological collections of... 更多

The current exhibit on preservation of human remains for medical education and research in the 19th and 20th century is a must see. It is an unusual blend of history, science, and art. The book about the exhibit (for sale at the museum) is likewise excellent. It may be disturbingly graphic for some (e.g. preserved fetal remains). I wouldn't bring... 更多

A small museum, but houses a nice collection of medical items from eh 1700 and 1800;s, including medical specimens. These are not for the squeamish, but if you have an interest in medicine, this museum gives a nice overview. I did not use the guide when I was there, but have heard that a guide would be helpful. Also a... 更多

This is a great museum to visit while in Copenhagen. It is small, but the collection is well put together and the overall design is very intentional and well thought out. The Body Collected Exhibition was great. We did a guided tour in English and our guide was excellent. Well worth the stop.

Very interesting and informative museum. We did the guided tour which was good and helped explain a lot of the displays. Worth a visit.

Well worth the admission, most of the exhibits had english accompanying the danish. The collection of diseased tissue and bones was very fascinating. However not a museum for the weak of stomach or children.

I visited at the time of a English guided tour, it was brilliant, the guide was so knowledgeable and really made a difference. I would have enjoyed the museum anyway, but the guide had so much more to offer, she told us so many interesting facts, it would have been worth paying double for. I would recommend finding out when... 更多

I loved the museum, but unfortunately we planned too short of a time to spend there and therefore I feel that we didn't get most of it. I think if you're going to go there and you're really interested in everything they have to offer, then minimum 2-3 hours is required to listen the guide and explore everything by yourself.... 更多

Really enjoyed the exhibition. Especially preserved bodyparts, features and deformed cadavers. Wulgar but interesting.

在Indre By (Inner City)的住宿

周围地区详细资料
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
