This small but wonderful museum is a must see for Thessaloniki. There is so much great information here that should not be missed to learn more about the Byzantine culture!

It is really an interesting museum located not far from the White Tower. There are 11 rooms which represent 11 different sub-era of the byzantine culture.
a normal museum of history. They don't offer private guides and so you have to read all the written on the wall but many of them are so long and so little that after a bit you got really bored. We chose to visit the Museum of Byzantine Culture to learn something about the history of Thessaloniki and the whole region. We were not disappointed!
A really nice museum about the Byzantine empire, beautiful building with unique echibitions, you should totally visit it if you like museums.
You can see a lots of things from the Byzantium stage and museum is organized very well. You can take a photo when you get permission from the responsible persons.
