We took a taxi up 5 euros and because we can see the harbour we walked down the hillside towards it . the Stadium is much bigger than I had anticipated, but sadly the acropolis is incased in scaffolding for repairs to be done so it was hard to see it properly. AFTER SPENDING 15minutes to try to find out where the Acropolis is ,we finally found it using the internet search engine.It is located on the way to the rhodos hospital up on the hill. If you have an interest in ancient history then it is worth the visit. However be aware that the site is currently undergoing some renovations making it difficult to see the Acropolis. The amphitheater is also located here and is a stunning sight. Don't forget to buy your own guidebook for information as there is none provided at the site.
My friend and I absolutely loved this trip to Lindos to climb the Acropolis. The views are breathtaking. Completely and utterly worth every step. If you struggle with walking (especially in the heat), there is an option to have a donkey ride up to the top. Otherwise, I highly recommend the walk.
