If you like quiet encounters with nature, this is a great place to pause and enjoy shady paths and mostly sleepy night butterflies (technically moths, yet strikingly beautiful - especially if you get to see them in flight). Because they are nocturnal flyers, you mostly see them at rest looking like black and white striped flowers perched on leaves, lines... 更多
The "valley" is a small green area. There is only one kind of "butterfly" that is not really a butterfly at all -but a moth. They sleep during the day. There are many of them and they look nice with the bright red color that is showing only when they fly. Entrance 2,5 euro per person.
Accessible by the mountains coming from the village of Psinthos is better than going from below the valley. The reason is obviously the height, level of difficulty and the heat. There are small crabs butterflies that exist only there and birds.Truly an amazing place for visit.Don't forget the museum and to enjoy a coffee in the place build 1948.
The part-time residence of some interesting butterflies (black and white on top and flaming orange on the bottom). The site is a cool and refreshing change from the sere surroundings.

too small, feels like it's there only to attract tourists to pay the unreasonable tarrifs for everything, Loved the butterflies, but there is no need to disturb them like that, especially for money!! Couldn't see any investment at all, where all these money go?
I am not saying, there were no butterflies, but it is not really worth go here, as the park is small, and you will most likely encounter only 1-2 species on some spots. In case you are out of ideas, good to visit, just don't have high expectations.
