The travel company who I used for this trip were not very good. The map at the entrance to the Gorge showed a circular route. Not to be. When one descended to the bottom after viewing a small waterfall, the wooden bridge was not very safe and there the journey ended and you had to retrace your steps due so... 更多
It took myself and my partner a while to find St Anthony's Gorge due to the trip advisor app having an incorrect address but if you put the address for the Taverna in, you'll find it very easily, but bear in mind there's an easy route on good roads or a more windy one through the middle of nowhere, which... 更多
Starts in a nice wooded area and passes a tiny chapel built against the canyon wall. Some climbs to a viewpoint and some narrow and steep passages. However, we could not continue down to the reservoir because the passage led through a running waterfall with a rope for aid but unless you wanted to get soaked and possible slip on... 更多
The gorge is green and beautiful. The church of St. Anthony is built inside a rock. There are two paths that you can follow, that go along the small river. Across the entrance to the gorge, there is a great tavern, Drymos, with excellent food and good prices.

The path is beautiful and easy to walk and it lasts about a quarter. The problem is that in the right side of the entrance you can find a traditional, crowded, and beautiful but... 更多
Nothing like the Saklikant (probably wrong spelling) in Turkey but a reasonably good workout for the thighs after a week of sitting in tavernas and tour buses. The BBQ restaurant at the top served basic but tasty meals at excellent value.
Great adventure - managed it (just about) with 3 kids - 7/10/12. Best to go early and definitely take decent shoes - at least trainers if not walking boots. trail is not well marked though so it takes some working through to descend to the beautiful lake at the bottom. Be prepared to come back up the gorge - there... 更多
We had a great time exploring the gorge - Parking was easy. I would recommend trainers or walking boots as the climb down the gorge can be quite tricky and slippery in places - well worth the effort each level down has a beautiful pool. Lots of climbing and bouldering- my teen really enjoyed himself. Good choice for a change... 更多
