Very pretty beach. It wasn't too crowded when we went since there weren't much cruise ships in town and the water was a most beautiful shade of turquoise.
There are more popular beaches in Antigua but if you want to try to avoid some of the crowds (especially when cruise ships are in) this is a great beach. The water is beautiful, the beach isn't too crowded, not too many sales people and a great concession for drinks and eats. Good amount of sand for a nice walk... 更多
We researched several places to visit when we were in port in Antigua. We decided on a couple options then when we got off the boat we took a peek at what the taxis had to offer for pricing, etc. When you get off the boat be sure to walk out of the hussle and bussle to where private taxis... 更多
We looked at several places to visit when we were in port in Antigua. Very, very glad that we chose Valley Church. When we got off the boat, we went outside of the hussle and bussle to other taxis that were cheaper. Not sure of the price but it was cheaper than the operators inside the gates for sure. It... 更多
All I can saw is WOW!. The most beautiful water I have ever seen. Enjoyed the day, rode jet ski's. Restaurant right on the beach. I think my wife wants to move here. The area away from the beach wasn't much to look at but we had a nice tour from the self proclaimed(maybe it was true) president of the... 更多
Antigua was one of the ports on my cruise April 29th 2015. My girlfriend and her family decided to go to this beach after researching it and seeing great reviews. This place did not disappoint at all. It cost 16 dollars per person round trip from the cruise port. When we arrived there were a few people coming up asking... 更多
The most beautiful peaceful beach! Turquoise water like none other! We were fortunate to be there on only non cruise days by chance! We were fortunate to share it with a few local families, awesome families at that! The Nest.....delicious!
Valley Church beach is a beautiful, quiet beach with some nice amenities ( convenient snack bar/restaurant for burgers, sodas, etc). However, the sand there is really, really coarse- as in really tough for me to even walk on. Not sure why, because we didn't find this type of sand anywhere else on the island- but take your water shoes, flip... 更多
First of all, let me just say that I have been on a few Caribbean cruises so I am not knocking the 'Excursion to a lovely beach' from the ships! But there is a huge difference between a 'cruise ship day' and when you go to the beach and you have it to yourselves - that's wonderful! Writing this review... 更多
Spent the day here and we were absolutely speechless! What a beach!!!! It's the best beach I've ever seen! It's like something out of a movie, or a brochure! White sand, warm crystal clear blue sea, and the nest beach bar shack right behind you :D Need to go back ♡
My wife and I along with another couple recently took an excursion to Valley Church Beach while on a cruise to Antigua. We chose Valley Church Beach because of the very favorable reviews on Trip Advisor. We are certainly glad that we did. The four of us took a taxi from the port that took us to several nice places... 更多
Simpy gorgeous. Calm, azure green water, soft sand, and a beautiful view. It wasn't empty due to cruise visitors (who cleared out around 3p), but it didn't feel crowded by any means - altough I think there was only 1 ship in that day. Umbrella ($10) and chair ($5) prices were very fair, and the chair fees were waived if... 更多
On our P & O cruise we called at Antigua and all we wanted was a few hours on a beach. We had specific requirements - my husband uses a walking aid so wanted an easily accessible beach, we didn't want to drive too far, we wanted a quiet, sheltered beach (it was quite a windy day) with small bar... 更多
