As I suggested somewhere, I would recommend visiting this area during the night, after other attractions are mostly closed. Everything looks modern and beautiful (at least to me), so I would start at the Metro station, walk to this Tower and look at the bridge, than walk back to the Vasco da Gama Shopping center. The view from the "teleferico" is superb
Expect a long line but definitely worth the wait
You can choose a one way ticket or return, either way, after exiting there are restaurants, ice cream spots, cafes, etc
