Beautiful courtyard to have some rest in the shadows of bougainvilleas. Well worth the stop if you are wandering between Panteão Nacional and Castelo de São Jorge
A large place full of history, the exhibition of Azulejos representing La Fontaine stories is awesome. If you go up the tower, beautiful views of the city will open up. Highly recommended and remember that people 65+ have 50% reduction for admission fee, even foreigners, though it is not advertised.
This is a wonderful place full of history and beauty. The blue and white tiling that runs throughout is gorgeous and the museum filled with fascinating things associated with the Catholic church. It was quiet when we visited - and that was in August. Highly recommended.
The guided visit (around 75 minutes, 5 Euros) at the Monastery is a must to get a historical overview and insights about Portugals history and culture. The final on the roof gives a breathtaking view over the city and the river.
We almost missed the beautiful scenery this church offered at the roof top. Make sure you pay the 5 euro beside the WC to enter. Many tourists missed the entrance. This church was built using 100,000+ tiles. Amazing view at the church roof top. Highly recommend.
The church itself is a really nice Mannerist building, the interior however is quite unadorned apart from a nice Baroque... 更多
