An Irish Pub in a lovely setting. Sitting outside on a warm October evening was a bonus. Not being a Guinness drinker I was advised by my friends I was missing a great experience, however my Kilkenny was lovely. The only complaint was a very unpleasant smell inside the establishment which needs to be addressed. Good and friendly staff.
Overall ok, service slow, but the location and surroundings are the attraction here, well apart from the Guinness . Prices were a little on the hefty side, but seems par of the course here. Live singer was no Neil Diamond or Noel Gallager but got the place rocking. There was 16 of us so I suspect he appreciated having a... 更多
The pub has a lovely atmosphere like any pub should, good wifi and plenty of seats. Unfortunately we had a drink and the glasses were very dirty, we then ordered some paninis and the were not particularly tasty but other than that the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Great location with a nice view of the square and the sea beyond. We stopped here for a few drinks and a spot of people-watching. The drinks were more expensive than elsewhere, although we didn't mind that. However, we did mind being accused of not paying for a round by the barman! When they finally realised that we were not... 更多
Thought it would be lovely to sit outside near the beautiful town square. Service was ok until the server got it wrong and then was so blatantly rude, huffing and tutting. Virtually threw our drinks to us as she was angry. Swearing at other staff because they were a little bit busy and made to feel really unwelcome. Asked for... 更多
We had to spend 2h anywhere, during the afternoon. Because we just had lunch, the ideal place would have been a pub. And we found them, in a great location, with the proper shadow. The young man which took care of us was very careful, polite and fast. I had one white and another rose good portuguese wine glasses, my... 更多
Great location but awful service. Staff very rude and smoking behind the bar while serving customers . They all seemed far more interested in themselves than serving their customers. The 3 tables of customers around us all spoke to each other about how rude the staff were. Such a shame as great location
Handy for watching Irish matches as you can sit outdoors in the sunshine but otherwise, I'd avoid it. It would never survive as an Irish pub in Ireland! You'd die of thirst!! They ran out of the local beer and table service is hit and miss... Prices vary too depending on who serves you! They serve food but beware it's... 更多
