Interesting free to over 65s - esp on a wet day - well laid out with friendly staff - good use of displays showing sea, fishing birds and maritime activities - good use of audio noises as you walk through displays - needs to be promoted more as an attraction
We went to the museum on a very hot day to escape from the heat and were surprised to find such an interesting and well displayed collection which explored both the Royal influence on Cascais and the lives of the ordinary fishermen and women. Lovely little museum with excellent displays. Well maintained with friendly knowledgeable staff. Free for children and seniors. Well worth a visit
We went there with our son and loved it. It's a small museum that you can cover within an hour. Lots of work put into the displays. Great for toddlers. 3£ admission.
Nice museum about the sea around Cascais and Portugal, from the fish to the fishermen, dating from the 19th century.
