I don't understand why it took me so long to visit this place. 2 major atractions: the walk trough the battle field explained by a guide or an audioguide and a 15 minutes virtual show that explains very well the battle. You have a restaurant and a picnic area there.
Although I'm portuguese and the battle of Aljubarrota is an important moment of our history and is discussed at school, it was my first time here. The place and the explanations of the guides are very interesting for adults and children. It's a place mandatory for the portuguese and for all that want to understand why we are so diferent,... 更多
I was very sceptical when the tour bus pulled in and thought that a "mock up" film would be boring. How wrong I was. The story of the deeds of Nuno Alvarez Pereira was very well done, the museum had some interesting human remains, weapons and the battle tactics were clearly explained. Also on the site is the small thanksgiving... 更多
For a fan of the military achievements it is a great place to study tactics, immerse himself in the time of the battle, think about Perreira brothers fighting on the opposite side in the conflict and watch informational short movie.

I also has an children educational department, that I could not explore but will in the... 更多

A local legend says the Monastery of Batalha was... 更多
